Belle Plaine Man had a better
idea for jigs
Spring 1999
Ray Simpson of
Belle Plaine was tired of fighting the paint in the eyes of his
jigs. He thought there had to be a better way to do it.
After some thinking
and tinkering, he came up with what he thought was the answer
to that problem. Now a little over a year later, many other anglers
around the country agree with him and have purchased one of his
Eye Poppers.
Introduced at the Kansas Sports, Boat and Travel
Show last year in Zeiner's Angler Supply's booth, the handy little
tool has been selling well.
Since then, Simpson has added jigs and other products
to his line. He will be at the Kansas Sports, Boat and Travel
Show again this year meeting people in Zeiner's booth.
