MESU Bait catches AOY Champion Brent Chapman
October 18, 2012 - Rose Hill, KS-- Bassmaster Elite Angler of the Year Brent Chapman, a Kansas angler, is signing on to work with Kansas-based MESU Bait Company. Chapman started using their products during his AOY run. He liked the quality of their baits designed for tournament anglers and their reasonable prices.
A partnership with MESU Baits works well with Chapman's other sponsors since they are licensed by Tightlines UV to use their UV reflective technology, and they also use TroKar hooks in their skirted jigs. "MESU makes great baits that catch fish. I am such a firm believer in the UV reflective technology that it makes perfect sense to use it with as many baits as possible. The anglers I fish against are the best in the world and I need to take every advantage I can. I truly believe UV technology has given me an edge that other anglers are missing and I am going to ride that advantage as long as I can. These baits have already put fish in my boat and I am sure they will continue in the years to come," explained Chapman.
MESU Baits will be working with Chapman on a new bait, the Brent Chapman Flutter Spoon, which will be released in January 2013. John Young of MESU Baits stated, "Having Brent on our staff offers our company huge benefits. Brent is already a great spokesperson for UV technology, and having him promote our baits is a perfect fit. Besides the promotion factor, Brent will help us design new products like the Flutter Spoon and more. It's also a benefit to have the Angler of the Year out there using our product and giving us feedback to help us continue to improve what we offer anglers at all levels"
To celebrate, MESU Baits will be giving away $50 worth of product per month for the next six months. One winner per month will be selected from those who "Like" MESU Baits's page on Facebook.
